Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 4, 2026
Short version: Magnetiles is designed for families. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, an advertising SDK, chat, social posting, location collection, or tracking. Creative work and progress are stored on the device. Apple, Google, and Unity services process limited purchase and technical data needed to operate the app.
Information stored on the device
Magnetiles stores player profiles, creative builds, progress, rewards, settings, and purchase entitlements locally on the device. This information is used only to provide app features. Magnetiles does not upload names, builds, or progress to a developer-operated server.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. Magnetiles receives purchase status and receipt or purchase-token information needed to unlock content and restore purchases. Apple and Google handle account and payment information under their respective privacy policies. Unity In-App Purchasing may process limited technical identifiers, device and session information, country, and purchase events to deliver and troubleshoot purchase functionality.
No advertising or tracking
Magnetiles does not show ads and does not include an advertising SDK. The iOS app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. The Android app does not request the Google Advertising ID or Android Privacy Sandbox advertising permissions.
Diagnostics and service data
Unity purchasing components may process limited device, installation, purchase, performance, and diagnostic data needed to deliver and troubleshoot purchases. This information is not used by Magnetiles to build a profile of a child, and Magnetiles does not sell personal information.
Information Magnetiles does not request
The app does not ask for a child’s email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or social-media account. It does not offer public profiles, messaging, unrestricted web browsing, or user-generated content sharing.
Retention and deletion
Parents can edit or delete saved builds in the Parent Area. Removing the app deletes its locally stored profiles, builds, progress, and settings from the device. Apple, Google, and Unity retain service data according to their own legal obligations and retention policies. Restorable purchase records remain with the applicable app store provider.
Request data deletion
Magnetiles does not create user accounts. To delete on-device data, a parent can delete individual saved builds in the Parent Area, use Reset progress in the Parent Area, or uninstall the app. To request deletion of information associated with a prior Magnetiles support request, open a Magnetiles support request and include only the prior support issue number. Do not include a child’s name or other personal information. Store purchase records and limited service data held by Apple, Google, or Unity are governed by those providers’ legal and retention requirements.

Changes
This policy may be updated when app features or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when that happens.
